The most common stitch size is 5.4 stitches per centimeter, and you can get both Aida fabric and other inexpensive embroidery fabrics with this stitch size.

However, you can get fabric types that require both fewer and more stitches, depending on your embroidery needle and thread skills. It's the stitch width that will determine how complicated it is to embroider on your fabric. We have inexpensive embroidery fabric for every project.

Different types of embroidery fabric give different looks

In addition to the density of stitches in your embroidery fabric, you also need to consider the color and texture. Cotton or linen are the most commonly used fabrics for embroidery. However, linen often requires a bit of experience, but it also produces a similarly beautiful result.
