Drops Lima yarn is a luxurious blend of 65% wool and 35% alpaca. The properties of these two materials ensure, first and foremost, a super soft and comfortable yarn that appeals to everyone. In addition, the blend of the two materials ensures a yarn that is hardwearing and durable. Drops Lima is spun from 4 strands, which further enhances it. Due to its many delicious yet strong properties, Drops Lima yarn goes under the category of sports yarn. Sports yarn is the term for those yarn qualities that can withstand a little extra set compared to regular yarn qualities, making them perfect for outdoor knitting, for example.

The yarn fibres in Drops Lima are untreated. This means that the yarn is only washed before dyeing and is thus not subjected to chemical treatment. This enhances the natural properties of wool and alpaca, while ensuring better dimensional stability and texture. The more firmly you knit with this quality, the better the good surface properties and shape stability are emphasised. Recommended knitting needles are 4 mm.
