First Impression Shorts by DROPS Design is a pair of nice baby shorts in rib knit. The shorts are knitted in Drops Baby Merino, which is 100% merino wool.

The pattern uses colour 28 Light Mint, which is unfortunately out of print. We have therefore chosen to swap to colour 11 Ice Blue, which is closest. We use a remnant of Drops Baby Merino 02 Natur for the tie. A key will automatically be added to the shopping basket. If you have leftovers at home, you can remove the key before ordering.

First Impression Shorts by DROPS Design can be knitted in size. Preemie - 0/1 months - 1/3 months - 6/9 months - 12/18 months - 2 years - 3/4 years. The sizes correspond to the following measurements 40-44 - 48/52 - 56/62 - 68/74 - 80/86 - 92 - 98/104 cm. The fine shorts are knitted on 3 mm double pointed needles and circular needles (40 or 60 cm) or the size of needles you need to achieve the knitting tension. Also use 2.5 mm double pointed needles and circular needles (40 cm) for the edges.

NOTE: Due to the ribbing, the garment will be very elastic and will therefore contract in relation to the measurements on the measurement chart.

Always observe the knitting gauge! Please note that the amount of yarn is adjusted to the knitting tension. If you knit looser or tighter than indicated in the pattern, your yarn consumption may vary. It will also affect the size of the final project. Therefore, be very careful to match the knitting gauge.
