This series of star strips from Vivi Gade is called Copenhagen Nostalgia. The collection is kept in red and white colors with simple patterns. Vivi Gade's design series is Scandinavian creativity. The simple design makes it easy to combine patterns and colours just to your taste. This allows you to make your own unique decorations, whether it's baskets, Christmas hearts or traditional braiding of poinsettias.

In the pack you will find 60 pieces of paper strips, which are made of lignin-free and acid-free paper. With this pack you can make two sizes of poinsettias. They have a diameter of 6.5 cm and 11.5 cm respectively. This means that one size of paper strips measures 15 mm in width and 44 cm in length, while the other size measures 86 cm in length and 25 mm in width. If you only use the pack to weave poinsettias, you will get 15 poinsettias. There is an assortment of colours and patterns in the pack. There are five different types of print. Some strips are red with white dots or white with red dots, with red and white stripes and with two types of ornaments. Instructions for braiding poinsettias are on the back of the pack. Instructions

Follow the illustrated instructions. 1) Start by finding four strips. Then fold them in half, so that the strips are halved. 2) At the end where the strips are not folded, cut a small triangle so that the end is pointed. 3) Take the first strip and place it so that the tip is pointing downwards. 4) The next star strip should now lie crosswise with the tip pointing to the right. Star strip 2 should fold over the first vertical star strip. 5) Now take the third star strip and place it vertically, but opposite to star strip 1, i.e. star strip 3 lies on the table with the point upwards. Strip 3 should fold over strip 2. 6) Now take the last strip and place it across strip 3, pointing to the left. Star strip 4 should wrap around star strip 3 and also have the tips between the two sides of the first strip. 7) When you pull all four strips out to the side, they should lock in place so you have a small square. 8) Next, fold the four strips over the braided square so you have two strips on all four sides. You do this so that you go counterclockwise. The last strip that you fold over should be locked in place by sticking it through the transverse dice in the square. 9) Now bend the top right strip so you have a small triangle with the slanted side pointing to the right. The paper strip points to the right. 10) Now fold another triangle so that the strip points downwards. Now you have two triangles. 11) Now fold one triangle over the first triangle so that they are double. 12) Next you need to get the strip through the transverse strip of the braided square itself in the middle. If necessary, bend the triangle backwards when you need to pass the strip through. 13) Turn the star 90 degrees and repeat steps 9-13, that is, continue folding the triangles that form the points of the star. Once you have folded the first four points, turn the star over. Now repeat folding the triangles into points in the same way as points 9-13. 14) You now have four strips sticking out at the top of the star. Fold them up. Lift up one of them and now fold the paper backwards into a triangle so that the slanted side is pointing upwards. Turn the strip so that the tip can go through the transverse strip at the back of the folded triangle. The strip should go through one of the points on the side. Repeat point 14 on the other three strips. Reverse the star and repeat point 14 four times. 15) Finish folding by cutting the excess strips from the sides of the star.
